To thine own self be true
“This above all: to thine own self be true
And it must follow, as the night the day
Thou canst not then be false to any man/Farewell, my blessing season this in thee!” William Shakespeare, Hamlet, Act 1 Scene 3 Polonius is speaking to his son.
A little quote, with a big meaning, that I live my life by! I’m married to James, retired MSgt. USAF, going on 8 years in September. We have “children”, and by “children”, I mean cats. We don’t have any children of the 2 legged variety and that was by choice. I realized a long time ago that while I LOVE being Aunt MiMi, I also LOVE being to be able to send kiddos back to their own homes at the end of the day!
I LOVE COFFEE!!!
My favorite, hands down, is Death Wish Coffee. As far as I’m concerned, there is nothing better when I want a truly delicious cup of coffee. (Go ahead and click that link, I’m not getting anything for sharing with you! I just love it that freaking much!)
I love all things butterflies, reading (honest to God PAPER books), unicorns, paper crafting (everything from cards and wedding invitations to scrapbooks), and cooking!
I’m also a self-declared pen junkie and office supply hoarder. I love using calligraphy pens! I love felt tip pens, gel pens, and yes, even traditional ball point pens. Post it notes make me giddy! I feel like I’m missing something important here…
JAMBERRY! I LOVE JAMBERRY! DID I MENTION YET THAT I LOVE JAMBERRY?!?!?!
I’m a work from home wife. I’m a displaced Midwesterner living on the East Coast at the moment. Knowing that we were going to be in Delaware for only a couple of years, I went back to school and I am currently working on my MBA from Western Governors University. My husband and I are currently plotting our next move in life. Turns out, I get to go back to the Midwest! We’re headed for Ohio!
If it weren’t for Jamberry, I don’t know that I ever would have taken the leap of faith to start my own business. It has been a blessing that I can pick up my business and move it anywhere I go!
Now let’s talk about my writing skills! I have a degree in Business Management not English. While I love to read, I am NOT a writer naturally. I hate spelling and loath grammar. This is absolutely funny because I’m the girl that can empty a red pen on other people’s work to help them. I truly do write like I talk, so if you can get around that, we’ll get along just fine.
I hope that you enjoy getting to know me!
